Step into the groundbreaking world of Gargoyle Doyle, a VR+AR narrative masterpiece created in collaboration with Ethan Shaftel and his team at easyAction. The story follows Doyle (voiced by Jason Isaacs), a disgruntled, self-important gargoyle nursing both his pride and a grudge. Relegated to a forgotten alcove with a ragtag crew of irregular gargoyles, and Chet, a snarky rain gutter voiced by Haley Joel Osment. Doyle seethes at his unlucky fate.
Blending VR and AR with cinematic storytelling, Gargoyle Doyle takes audiences on a seamless journey between augmented and virtual realities. Guided by the enigmatic T’Nia Miller, viewers are transported into the gargoyles’ world while bringing the characters vividly into their own, in a bold narrative that redefines immersive storytelling.
At Mesh Masters, we don’t just create art—we drop into projects like a commando team, ready to turn ideas into 3D masterpieces. For Gargoyle Doyle, we deployed the full force of our expertise:

Gargoyle Doyle called for a visual experience unlike any other: seamless integration of AR and VR, hyper-optimized assets, and an aesthetic that could set the tone for the era of spatial storytelling.
We started by locking down the visual language and style in close collaboration with Ethan and his team at easyAction. Once a clear creative vision was in place, we moved into high gear, producing rapid mockups, immediate testing in Unity, and kick-starting art production. While maintaining seamless communication with everyone involved. We delivered on point, within budgets, and supported Ethan and his team handling XR and Unity challenges with our many years of expertise.
The final product? An emotional narrative experience where our art isn’t just seen, it’s felt. Every environment, character, and prop works in unison to deliver a rich, immersive world that pushes the boundaries of XR and redefines what’s possible in interactive storytelling.
