Dunk into the Oreoverse in a brand-new 3D browser experience. Explore a unique Oreo world, playable anywhere, anytime during the campaign, with four mini-games that challenge players to achieve the best high score.
A collaboration between Oreo, Martin, Media.Monks, and Mesh Masters. Our role was to transform design files into a highly optimized 3D experience, ensuring fast loading times and small download sizes while maintaining the world’s distinct look and feel.
Through close collaboration with the experienced web team at Media.Monks and leveraging our expertise in optimizing 3D art for games and web, we successfully reduced an unoptimized four-gigabyte 3D mockup scene to a 10MB experience, including the entire world, textures, and animations.

The client needed to transform a four-gigabyte 3D mockup into a fully functional browser game, with a size limit of 20MB. The challenge was to reduce loading times, minimize download sizes, and ensure smooth performance for a seamless 3D web experience.
We evaluated the world’s design and style, then focused on creating a streamlined asset foundation for Media.Monks to build upon. By drastically reducing poly counts, rebuilding assets, and optimizing UVs and textures, we minimized file sizes, allowing Media.Monks to quickly implement the assets into the browser game.
Our optimizations enabled a first version to run in the browser within two weeks, facilitating rapid iterations. We delivered the assets ahead of schedule, giving the team time to polish the experience. The result was a smooth, engaging, and unique Oreo browser game, successfully meeting the tight size and performance constraints.
